ppp car on about 95k. Obviously it depends on lots of things but is there a ball park figure where they start slipping?
Thanks

I had a standard WRX and it went at 56k. Depends on how it's been driven etc. Got it done at Extreme Scoobies near Chelmsford which included getting a flywheel skim (needed apparently), final bill for a 5 speed standard clutch was approx £550 two years ago.

Our last car was sold at 65k and the clutch was fine. The previous one was a 2.0 and iirc that was around 75 whwen we sold it, again with no apparent issues. I just wondered if I viewed this car should I allow for a clutch in negotiations.
56k doesn't sound much!

any car can have a clutch go , as above depends on how it's used or abused , service history is probably more important

Had my Hawk STi apart at 50k and there was loads of life left in the clutch.

(replaced it anyway, of course)

To be honest the Hawk I had was a bit of a lemon, I should have seen the signs but the price told me otherwise!, it had been subject to a fair bit of abuse.

The PPP Blob I have now is on 86k and while it is missing the thick end of 2 years service history (when purchased) I think it is still on the original clutch and seems to be absolutely fine.
