Having paid my deposit in September 16, I have so far been given 4 build dates for my 718 CS, lastly for April of this year.

My concern is also being informed that my car will no longer be built in Stuttgart, it will be built in Osnabruck.

The 718 press release by Porsche in 2016 proudly announced the move of all two-door sports car production from the VW facility in Osnabruck to Porsche headquarters in Stuttgart:
https://newsroom.porsche.com/en/products/porsche-c...

To build in Stuttgart clearly mattered to Porsche and to my OPC and it would have been my preference too. Have we been fed misinformation by Porsche?

Have the production delays in fact been due to Porsche merely sustaining a trickle of 718 production in Stuttgart, to support the launch?

In truth, is it Osnabruck that is being retooled for the full-on production of the 718 Cayman at the VW facility and not at the Stuttgart Porsche headquarters?

Just where will it be produced?

Cayman has always been the manufacturing nomad. Osnabruck did not have any real quality differences to Stuttgart with the 981 and I doubt the 718 (982) will be any different.

According to maps Kornwestheim is just north of Zuffenhausen .

I don't know exactly where the factory is.
