My wife is asking who a singer is she cant remember, sort of modern Jazz, not that well know, bit like a cross between Paloma Faith and Dita VOn Teese, been around the last ten years ?

Wow, that's an interesting description of her.

I NEVER would have got Caro Emerald from "a cross between Paloma Faith and Dita Von Tees"!

Pretty sure she's only been around for about the last 5 years too (ETA how time flies - first album was 8 years ago!)

Her and her band are always good fun live - Her gigs remind of me Kid Creole and the Coconut gigs, which is a good thing in my view
