Being sold with only 1 key no service history and mileage (78k) does not tally with the MOT :

google reviews said:
I saw a 56 plate E46 M3 for sale, states full history and 77000 miles, according to the photo of the dashboard. I thought that sounds too good to be true as M3's are going up in value and a 56 plate would be one of the last ones produced. So as I could see the reg number, I checked its history with the DVLA. Turns out it has done over 168000 miles ! - So not sure why the dash shows only 77000!? All very dodgy! Also seems that a number of 5 star reviews are written by the same person. Similar bad English and weird phrases and lots of !!! after each sentence. I mean who ever calls a 2nd hand car dealer a 'service provider' ! Obviously they get their friends and family to do dodgy reviews to boost their low star ratings. I would think if you've genuinely had a good experience then you must be really lucky!

Please keep away from these liars and cheaters. Very obnoxious people (especially the owner) and not to trust any word they say.

If they do mess you around, read Consumer Rights Act 2015, report them to Trading Standards, and go straight to court as there's no point believing them even if they sign a paper about it.

Thanks all, I went to have a look yesterday as it is near me hence my post this morning. Asked when the last service was ? No documentation….

Keys ? Only one hmmmm... They did at least acknowledge the mileage did not tally with the MOT history.

Brake discs & pads will need replacing and couldn't make out the brand of 19" tyres.

Central locking not working and the front windows do not come up with the master switch when the hood is dropped, you have to use the individual switches to bring them back up.

Engine idled well in the 15 minutes I was there however the A/C did not appear to activate when I pressed the button, the green led did come on though.

Sounds like a lucky escape!

Either the bloke has been reported and the advert pulled or the car has been sold.

Yes, I popped in as it is very close to me. A window into the M3 car hunt world.
