Lol

9 points for two offences means one was for 6 points and that's not a simple sp30 or sp60.

35 in a 30 is normally a course so there's something else before she's been done for.

The nine points on her licence for two previous speeding offences would probably hint towards that as well.

I'm sure she can afford a driver for her ban time.

Didn't read that, only scanned for how fast she was caught doing. I'd like to know how fast she got done for before as 35mph isn't a lot. But of course the mentality that any speeding is bad is strong so they've made her an example.

"I don't want a ban because I want to do charity work, setting a good example to girls to get in to motorsport".

Hardly a good defence is it...

Nevermind, I expect they can get Nico to play chauffeur now he hasn't got anything better to do hehe

I didn't know she was UK resident - I thought her and Toto lived in Switzerland. She's fairly heavily pregnant now so I guess delaying the ban coming into force has meant it's at a very convenient time work-wise.

Whoopsie. Ah well, not exactly a huge crime. I expect the six months will go quickly and she'll be out of the UK for some of it.

She certainly doesn't speak like a UK resident

She also said she would not be able to fully participate in the charity's events or do her job promoting Mercedes if she was not able to drive.
Does that mean she's being given the old heave ho by hubby?!

I had 6pts with an SP30 code attached....
Sentencing guidelines suggest 3-6pts for speeding offences.
SP30 is just the code for 'exceeding statutory speed limit on a public highway'.

I too managed to get 6pts for a SP30 offence. Got caught doing over 90mph on a B Road...

That's why I said a 'simple' sp30, Ie just over the limit so she must have been exceeding the higher to.lerance.
