GoPro Hero (original) lens scratched

So i strapped my GoPro to a friend head as she climbed up an indoor climbing wall and she promptly head butted a hand-hold

I now have a scratch on the lens (cover?) that is just about visible in footage.

Is this replaceable? Am i right in thinking the original Hero is integral into the casing, so i can't just replace the case? Can i change the lens bit?

After taking it to a watch repairers to be told they couldn't polish the lens, and no other ideas being forthcoming, i thought i would contact GoPro themselves and see what they say.

So i used the "live chat" option on their website, and explained the situation honestly (it had taken a knock whilst rock climbing). They took the serial number, looked at a couple of photos and told me it was eligible for a warranty repair! Totally unexpected and very welcome outcome!
