Dr Robert Ironton, or Dr Bob as he's know in our house.

A pediatrician and neo-natal expert at Princess Anne in Southampton. Was on TV tonight, an article about a baby that arrived in 1998 at just 23 weeks. Now 19 and doing fine.

Dr Bob took hold of our little man, arrived at 30 weeks, and got him fixed up and breathing etc. We go to see Bob every six months until the little man is 2.

I just wanted to share that I think Dr Bob is a jolly good egg!

I don't remember as I was only 18 months old, but when my sister was born in '83 she was very premature by the standards back then. She was born at Bath and I know the team there were outstanding at ensuring she pulled through.
23 weeks is incredible! My wife is currently 24 weeks along, it is amazing that life can be viable after such a relatively short period of time.
