Hi all

Looking for suggestions on a good everyday suit for work, probably around £400 ish. I normal go down the Austin Reed route, was thinking at looking at M&S or my push the boat out a bit and look at Tommy Hilfiger or Thomas pink, just not sure how well they would stand up to every day

Cheers
Michael

Personally I quite like the Savile Row Inspired range at M&S. The bigger names you mention won't be any better really, but with M&S I find the fit is better off the rack. If you can push the boat out a bit then buy a suit at or just below your budget and then have it professionally fitted to you (i.e. adjusted).

I do like my Charles Tyrwhitt suit, but there is nothing wrong with M&S suits. Whichever you buy, get professional advice to make sure it fits you properly.

I like the Ted Bakers, and I have a Hugo Boss I've been dissapointed with - quality just not that good compared to price.

I've only ever bought shirts from Charles Tyrwhitt, but if the quality of those are anything to go by then you will not go wrong with a suit. I won't buy shirts from anywhere else now unless looking for something more casual.

If you're slim and have good taste pop in to Reiss.

TM Lewin do a nice range of Merino suits. Mine was just under £300 once all the tailoring was done.

TBH So long as you get a good material it's much of a muchness. Then it comes down to style and what shape you are.
