Hello everyone, recently came in to a bit of money and I am in the fortunate position to upgrade my car from my 2007 Astra.
I have a budget of around 12-13k.
I would realistically want a Diesel as I plan on doing long journeys but would go for a petrol for the right car, I want to get as much of the following as possible, I plan on keeping it for 3-4 years and don't want super high service costs
A big fuel tank so I can fill it up and go on and on
Adaptive Cruise Control
Comfort is a must over long trips ( 3 - 4 hour journeys now and then )
Reasonable power ( 0 - 60 8/9s ish )
Saloon/Estate
Heated Seats if possible
Nav
Parking Sensors
The following cars are on my radar at the moment;
520d SE
Octavia 1.6CR
Audi A5 2.0TDI
Passat 2.0TDI
I would typically be travelling and maybe even sleeping in the car, I do short runs now and then but I will do a few long runs per week also.

If it's a big comfortable car you're looking for then I'd say it has to be an E Class/XF with the 3.0d, the E Class did come with a bigger tank as an option but you'd have to check that out when looking.
