Austin Healey replica

Recently I came across a photo of an Austin Healey 100 or 3000 model that I'd never heard of. Cant recall where I'd since this photo, but was possibly in a recent edition of a classic car magazine I was browsing through. The photo looked like it was taken at a show (NEC maybe). The car in question had an odd name to it as though it was a kit car. As far as I can remember the Healey didn't have any noticeable widened wheel arches and looked like a genuine looking Healey 3000.

The only replica/kits of the Healey 100/3000 models I know of are the HMC, the Sebring MX and the Haldane. This wasn't any of those.

Anyone know if there's another replica of the Healey that's currently being produced?.

Wasn't the Wiesmann quite similar in looks? Not a kit car though.





ETA - I thought there was one with a more Healey-style front grille, can't see it though.

There were a couple of Healey reps I can think of but I dont think either of them made it to production properly.

My memory is a bit hazy but I think one was called a Thruxton and the other was a rebodied 7 from MK (I think!)

Apparently it was actually a restoration company called JME Healey.

Shame they don't make kits or replicas of Healey 3000s anymore. With the silly money originals are going for these days - upwards of 60 grand, you'd think the demand for a cheaper alternative would be available. The Haldane looked like a very affordable alternative.

Could it have been called a "Haldane 100" They made a few healey 100 kit/replicas.....
