Boxster buying guide?
Discussion
I've started mentally kicking the tyres of a Boxster, probably a 2.7 987, as a potential purchase later in the year. Can someone point me towards a good buyer's guide for these? I've had a look at the Hartech one but it seems very out of date, to put it mildly, and doesn't cover the 987.
Any tips welcome. Cheers.

Answering my own Q I found some stuff here

Pop in to www.ashgood.co.uk and have a good look round and a chat
If you are local to Birmingham I'd have a chat with with Kevin Eacock at EMC Motorsport. Unlike the internet which will make you think any Boxster is at death's door he is quite straight talking and will say what can be an issue but a rare one and what actually is a problem.
The only things I know of on them are the following:
IMS can go but it's rarer than you think and how the internet portrays it
Brakes are not cheap to replace.
Some modules may go on the loop
Errrm, that's about it? I did research them more at one point but it was some time ago.

Thanks, but, um, not really.
That just lists a few specs. I'm after a what-problems-to-look-out-for guide.
Did you click each of the hyperlinks at the bottom of the page, under the "PH's View" paragraph? That just lists a few specs. I'm after a what-problems-to-look-out-for guide.
"Buying guide contents:
Introduction

Loads more info in there.
