Knocked up this table over easter from an idea on Discovery channel. A program called the salvager.

The bottom cross piece is the rear subframe of an Astra!



What I like about the salvager is his projects are pretty straightforward and cheap to do, unlike "New Yankee Workshop" where you need £20K of woodworking equipment before you even start!

And an aircraftf hangar to swing the pieces of work about in as well.
I only make small pieces of work, as it has to be consrtructed in the shed

Could we see the detailing on the top, are they coach boults, holding top on?

Yes, coach screws holding the top down.
The top, as you can see is just 8"x2" bolted together with 10mm rod. Very easy to do although rather time consuming.

It's not to everyones taste I know, but it will last a long time!

Looks very neat chap, is it for outdoor summer use in that setting, or inside,
I ask, wondering at the same time about closing the individual boards with boults alone, or did you,
glue/joint them tight to keep them all in line.

Yeah Rich, bolts only.
I was'nt too sure about glueing it altogether. Perhaps I should have done.
It is for outside, so I will wait and see what happens!
