DAB Alarm Clocks

Yes folks, they really are the future.... After reading about all the exhasperation caused this weekend with the clocks altering I have a suggestion, get yourself a DAB alarm.

I thought I would test the claim that they get time from the network and it's true. Went to sleep GMT and woke up to BST all on it's own.

Not only that, but if there's a powercut in the night they set the time and remember all your alarms on powerup.

I was thinking of getting one of those 'bug' ones. Supposed to be OK. Unfortunately I am skint ATM so gonna have to wait.

If you do get one, update the firmware..... Another bonus, they keep bringing out new features for it

I got one of 'the bugs' - absolutely recommended!

Also keep an eye on their firmware update page as new features appear for free every now and then

Oh and I e-mailed pure digital with a request for a really dim setting for the backlight and they said they'll pass it to development... Hope it gets in.

Didn't know you could turn the display off and just hit a button to see the time, might give it a go in the interim
