Back in the day when i was running the old BM, I was a big fan of running injector cleaner through the system, - it seemed to make a huge difference.

Question is - is it safe to use such injector cleaning products on turbo engines? Presumably the injector gunk has to go somewhere - will it end up knackering the turbo?

I would treat most similar "cleaning" products as a waste of money, in a similar fashion to oil additives.

They would do no good, or harm to the turbo.

The turbo is upstream of the injectors (unless your'e running an ancient draw-through turbo system) - so no harm, but also not likely to make much difference.
Best best is to remove them and get them done properley.
