Aston Martin DB9 Aux input

IPOD & USB!! Is there somebody can help me?!?!? I have been trying desperately to find a sulotion to this on my 2007 DB9. I have the integrated USB and ipod ports in glove compartment, the USB recognises a device (seen by charging device) but I am no longer able to push CD on the infotainment console to scroll through inputs!!!
