Number of Built 987 boxster Spyders

Hi all ,

Been trying to find out how many Spyders were built and how many were supplied to the UK , does anyone here know how many were manuals ?

I think an estimate of 1900 (max) worldwide 987 Spyders has been deemed to be reasonably accurate.

UK cars I think were estimated around 230-250.

Of those which are manual is probably around 100.

Cars with all 'the essentials' are probably half that!

I seem to remember reading somewhere the total UK cars was 244 or 246.

I believe a lot were spec'd by dealers so had the best bits missing. The car was designed as a lightweight roadster and removing the bucket seats, Spyder wheels (lightest wheels Porshce made) and manual gearbox they sort of defeated the object.

There's only one car I regret selling and it was my 987 Spyder (even though it was PDK)!

237 uk i seem to recall.

well 106 manuals showing in the UK now, so a rare think when you thing the 991 RS is over 300 and the GT4 is about 600.
