Very boring question, but just wanting to know what the standard fit alloys on 996s were and what ones were optional extras. Just bought a second hand 996, and need to tell the insurance company

Ta very much

Wow Thanks - now that's a complete answer, and quick too! The turbo alloys look basically the same as the standards then, just bigger

I think there was another standard design when the 996 was first released, a 17 inch curvy 5-spokes design

EDIT:
These are them but not sure if they were standard?

If it's a facelift 996, standard fit alloys were 10 spoke 17". Sorry don't have a pic.

sorry to give this thread a re-birth - but are the turbo alloys at the top mounted the right, or wrong way around?

On my car the 'spokes' face forward, not sweep back....what's 'right' and what's 'wrong' ?

cheers

They all 'sweep' the same way - look on the other side of your car and I think you'll find that they appear to sweep the other way.
