Griff500 Vs USS Enterprise..............

After watching Capt. wassisname and the crew of the Enterprise blunder their way across space yesterday, it got me thinking......just how fast is the Enterprise compared with Blackpool's finest?
Seeing as it always seems to take several minuets to get the warp drive on line, I reckon the 0-60 dash would definately belong to the Griff.
But what about the standing quarter............or the standing light year?
Now as I understand it, light travels at about 66,000 miles per second, so a light year is a fair distance, the Griff would almost certainly have to stop for refueling. But on the other hand, the Enterprise seems to have the same reliability as a TVR straight 6.
All in all I reckon this one could be a close encounter(no appologies for that one), with the outcome dependent on the availability of Optimax beyond Pluto, bearing in mind you can't find it west of Salisbury!!!

I seem to remember that there is a garage on the eastbound A30 (west of plymouth) that does optimax.

Enterprise does not run on Optimax...
But just think how fast it'd be if it did.....
It'd be a bugger running on fumes past Alpha Centauri hoping that the next star system doesn't only have ordinary!
