Single DIN FlipOut DAB????
Discussion
I'm being told by a few shops that there is no such thing as a flip up screen stereo that has a DAB tuner.
Can this really be correct?
Surely not. I mean it's not like DAB is new tech.
I've had a DAB radio in my house since the 90s.
Even comes standard on a transit van.
Am I missing something?

There are plenty of double-DIN flip/slide out stereos with DAB, so maybe it's purely the 'single DIN' bit which is the issue?
Of the single-DIN one's I've seen, they seem to offer DAB with an aftermarket DAB add-on receiver.
I really don't want the extra receiver sitting on the dash, looks like an afterthought Of the single-DIN one's I've seen, they seem to offer DAB with an aftermarket DAB add-on receiver.

It's not one of the Pure/eZiDAB type boxes, it'll be a receiver that gets hidden away and connects into the back of the head unit. You then control the DAB part from the normal head unit.I've seen them for Clarion and Alpine.
