L322 slight knocking through steering column on full lock
Discussion
I have a 2007 M/Y Range Rover 4.4 Vogue Petrol, which despite it's 78k miles and getting a little old looking, it's still a fantastic car.
I have noticed recently, mainly when reversing and with the steering lock on full, that I'm getting a slight knocking noise which I can both hear and feel slightly through the steering column / steering wheel.
In normal driving, it's completely absent.
Does anyone have any ideas what it's likely to be?
And if it is what it sounds like, is it a very expensive job?
Many thanks
