Tiguan engine dilemma
Discussion
I am fairly close to deciding on a Tiguan SEL DSG as a great vehicle for spending a few, mainly winter, months of the year in the Alps and making safe and comfortable the 2,000 mile journeys. However the rest of the time the car will be used by my wife around town. So the dilemma is which power plant to choose - diesel makes sense for the Alps and petrol for the rest of the year. Mileage wise we probably do about 10,000 mls split equally between the two types of usage. Or do I wait for the petrol hybrid GTE model? If diesel I am thinking of the 190bhp engine and if petrol of the 2.0TFSi engine.
Any advice or thoughts? Does anyone know when the hybrid will go on sale?
