OP, nice cars but FFS drive them!

Its not as though they are classics/collectable/rare.
They are good hot hatches that need to be ragged and driven hard especially the Clio.

My advice, for what its worth, sell the Astra and buy a proper classic that you can detail and keep immaculate to your hearts content.

Then use the Clio.

I empathise.
You love cars, especially a good performance version (clearly)
But you want to look after them, allow them to be the best they can be.
I wash and wax mine all the time.
But I live in the countryside and if it's not wet and muddy, it's dry, dusty and pollen heavy.... but when I get to drive it, I can't help but fully enjoy it.... which naturally means a long period of cleaning follows...
It's just a case of finding the right reason and destination to drive it.
Get stuck in, those two look two good to sit still

I also got a daily/winter hack.... I avoided the temptation of 'another' performance car and got a diesel-mini-mpv-eco-euro-box....and whilst I give it some attention so it doesn't let me down... I really don't 'care' about it at all. This pairing seems to work
