Morning all
I am looking at buying a seat ateca but may be moving abroad soon. Can anybody in the know tell me if the LED headlamps which come with the car im looking at have the option to change beam pattern between left and right hand driving countries?

Cheers
Nick

From the owners manual http://www.seat.com/owners/your-seat/manuals-offli...

Driving abroad
The light beam of the dipped beam lights is
asymmetric: the side of the road on which
you are driving is lit more intensely.
When a car that is manufactured in a country
that drives on the right travels to a country
that drives on the left (or vice versa), it is normally
necessary to cover part of the headlight
bulbs with stickers or to change the adjustment
of the headlights to avoid dazzling other
drivers.
In such cases, the regulations specify certain
light values that must be complied with for
designated points of the light distribution.
This is known as “Tourist light”.
136
Lights and visibility
The light distribution of the halogen and fullLED
headlights allows the specific “tourist
light” values to be met without the need for
stickers or changes in the settings.
Note
“Tourist light” is only allowed temporarily. If
you are planning a long stay in a country that
drives on the other side, you should take the
vehicle to an Authorised Technical Service to
change the headlights.

Have taken my MK3 Leon Cupra to Germany many times (it also has LED headlights) and had no issues at all.

Issue is due to a technicality with work the car will need to pass a german roadworthyness test which includes lights so it would be a case of new headlamps.

Can anyone confirm the location of the rear fog and reverse lights

Rear lights will need to be changed. The fronts you will probably get away with.

if not your looking at ££££ to change fronts over as well. Might aswell buy a car over there.
