I think I read somewhere that the factory has been on strike for about a year, so Webers in general are getting difficult to get.

shame, always thought webber were a big company, then again with everyone going over to Injection these days. the market in cars that come out the factory line aint that big... So i presume they should get them selves more into injection systems but i cant see that happening

They do a system called Alpha, includes throttle bodies, ecu blah blah, but I guess you can't get this very easily at the moment either. It isn't cheap.

If you want to go throttle bodies then I think Omex could be worth looking at.

webbers are almost impossible to get hold of at the moment, and most s/h stuff is usless.

i thought thwy had gone under. there is a company called webcon but im not sure of there status either.

a new set of carbs and manifolds would be well over a grand.

alternatives these days are throttle bodies and and ecu.

Jenvey are probably the place for throttle bodies, and the ecu range is wide

just to name a few... I dont know anyone with the weber alpha kit that was totaly happy.

On the Chimaera i converted it from lucax 14cux to emerald, and even i can play with the mapping. all you need to program the car is a lap top, although to do it properly you need a rolling road and have it hooked up to a wideband lamba sensor.

You can do Fi on the cheap with salvaged throttle bodies and a build it yourself ecu megasquirt i think its called
