Hello All,

I am toying the idea of buying the above, the said car is a 15 plate on 38,000 miles. I have had mainly BMWs in the past and still got a 535d Touring, but this Merc is going to more of a commuting car to soak up 150 mile daily commute.

Is there anything I should look at in this model? It's an estate...
I cannot locate anything, but what are the service intervals on this model?
Anyone got one?

Thanks

No - they are unusually reliable.

Service intervals are approx 15k miles depending on how you drive, or 12 months, whichever comes sooner during the warranty period.

The car will still say the same out of warranty but then it's up to you if you stick with mileage rather than time.

I'm on my 2nd one.
Current one is late 2015 with the 9g gearbox. I get 48 mpg on long trips / 39 mpg on short journeys compared with 36/32 on the previous 2010 car.
Its EU6 so road tax is £145. I use a MB indy one warranty is up, he charges half the hourly rate of the main dealer.
I prefer 18" wheels to help with the potholes, 19" are apparently not a pleasant ride.
Mine is Selenite grey and the night edition black bits look great. Not sure I like them on a white car and on a black one they are almost unnoticeable.

And what makes you say that?
