Must have been asked before but too lazy to spend hours searching (sorry!)

Wifes car parked on drive, neighbours access is really awkward and diagonal across the back of her car.

Back of wifes car scraped by car parked next door (parents away, daughters boyfriend).

Saw him speed off and not returned since. Wifes car parked (unmarked at 10am, he wheel spins up road at 11).

No reply next door (at work) but assume they are panicking and the daughter may not even know.

Simpler for them to pay £100-150 for a smart repair but if not I guess its his car insurance for damage caused on private property?

You've missed the part where they admit liability first. The wheel spinning away gives you a clue...

All sorted. Neighbours daughter came round to apologise. Hes coming round to see me when he finishes work.

Apparently he just passed his test 2 weeks ago, not even 18 yet, poor kid!

GF said he just panicked, didn't know what to do. Parents away, boyfriend staying over etc etc

LOL... how I remember those days!

Reversing 101: remember to check the front of your car when you swing out of a drive!

Go easy on him or you'll scar him for life.

In saying that I was always under the impression that passing your test meant you could actually drive rofl
