I'm concerned that as I'm coming alone this year, as the missus is on a training course, I may be forced to stay at the bar way too late and have a sore head on the Sunday morning.

I hear your concerns Keith....I will ask the management if the bar can close a bit earlier...Say 5am...

What is this event then, can I come
Sorry ...No riff raff...

Apparently there are concerns that the food will be too delicious...The stately home walks are too well managed..The beer will be too strong and the firework will be too loud...If you are affected by any of this then this event is for you...

I hope the little bundle of joy arrives early for you mate...
Just to confirm that the firework display at this years Wedgefest has been taken out of context...When I said we will be throwing some "Bangers" on the fire I didn't mean ones filled with gunpowder!!...
Mind you talking of bangers I was a bit worried last year when organizing the food at the recce pre-event at Wroxall...One of the male staff walked passed and said..."I can recommend the Wroxall whopper"...
..Thankfully it was a home made sausage...(Actually that sounds just as bad...
)
So as confirmed the award wining firework display will be carried out by a professional registered firework company...The mortars are the size of wheelie bins and take two men to carry them..Warwickshire will think WW£ has started...
There might be a couple of cooked ducks falling from the sky if we are lucky...
...Mind you pigeon isn't that bad either..
Thought I would just clear that one up....Not long to go.....

P:S I'm not Spartacus....

Hi to all the followers of the BBWF
Just to reiterate, if anyone has any questions, Queries or concerns about this years event then please do not hesitate to contact me.
I would also advise people to not listen to ill-informed tittle-tattle from negative sources, nearly 9,000 hours (2 years) have gone into the organising of this special event which will be hosting some VERY rare TVR memorabilia, Prototypes, Race cars as well as seeing the two people responsible for us actually being able to put on an event like this...
This year is a special one-off , celebrating 70 years of TVR..Obviously the event is subject to change, will it will do from year to year but one thing will always be the same....You will always have a fantastic time.
Not long to go now...
