Underlay / carpet / insulation

Hi all

I am trying to decide on carpet, underlay and soundeadening.

What's everyone's experiences with this, what combination have they used.

I've read reviews on silent coat for insulation which has good reviews

I used Dynamat and Dynaliner.

I haven't done enough miles to form a full feedback regarding heat but it is quieter .

Looks like a neat job, how much did it cost to do the floor pan etc

Probably about £300.

I also did some extra installation on the inside of the transmission tunnel while the gearbox was out.

I've done the same and trimmed the edges with reflective silver tape, but it's just started to peel off. Only been on 5 mins. I need something to trim the cut edges
