Sorry pupp but I don’t think this is a good place to be disclosing colour coding for your alarm.

You may want to drop ribol a mail he seems to be bit of a whiz with electrics and alarms on Tivs.

Sorry, don't know anything about alarms, but my Chim had an alarm problem just before I bought it, which was sorted out and I was given the business card of the person that did it.

Silly me. Should have realised there's likely to be someone viewing that will be able to get the console out and disable the motion sensor before the alarm attracts attention, assuming it works at all of course

If thats your attitude, why don't you tell us your address, where you keep your house keys at night, and which room has the TV and video? After all, it would take too long for anybody to use that information before the alarm went off......

Come on guy's chill out I’m only here trying to keep things clean and tidy and assist where I can.

It's just that questions about alarms, emergency access and car circuitry are always coming up.

IMHO that every TVR owner trusts every other TVR owner.

Big problems with that philosophy is that it's not only TVR owners that read these forums.

Lets face it if you want to know anything about a TVR’s where do you come?

Just seemed unnecessarily heavy handed in this case Al, when I could have done with the assistance given I had some time to tinker and the car was in bits. The point I was trying to make was that this thing is buried in the bowels of the car and if someone is serious enough to get that far in then the alarm is going to make little difference anyway.

Anyroadup, all sorted now... just took a call to the first Meta dealer/installer I found via Google... good secret
