SL63 AMG Opinions

Hi all, currently driving a 2013 E63 AMG. Looking at upgrading to an SL63 AMG, probably around 2-3 years old.

I would want the performance package and I understand that panoramic roof is a must.

Has anyone made the change? I know I'll miss the space inside the E63 but I'm hankering for some roof down motoring.

Also, any tips/advice or other options I should be looking out for?

Best value car in its class! Performance pack is not necessary, never needed the use of limited slip diff and the additional torque actually makes it more difficult to launch and in real work will be slower sub 60 and marginally quicker post 100. I thought the panoramic roof was standard?? You have an option between an automatically darkening roof and old fashion cover, I had the latter, the other I think is a bit of a gimmick. Must have options, upgraded sound system, keyless go & wind deflector although most cars have these.

I just got out of mine, really incredible car and sad to see it go. I got out in less than ideal circumstances, make sure it's serviced every year! Oh and I didn't get more than 15mpg and it drinks a lot of oil!
