The left side exhaust looks suspect, i.e does it really have one or is it a fake?

the left side is the air intake a la Speed six - I suspect that the engine in the car and the one on the stand aren't exactly the same

Tax legislation on large engines in Italy or something.. there was a good reason for it.

In Germany you are taxed by the cubic capacity as well ... running an 5liter engine can be rather expensive.

Here in Austria we are taxed by the KW (bhp) an engine produces. So it is a bit ridiculous when you think that an Honda S2000 will cost you almost as much on tax and insurance then a Chimera 400

It's badged as a Petronas so maybe it's a customer Ferrari unit

Basically the factory here have struggled to sell Chims, the majority are 4 litre, there are a small number of 4.5's and a very small number of 5 litres around. The road tax per year for a 4 litre is expensive (>1000quid per year I think), the 5 litre are mega expensive to tax. So a 2 litre would go down well here. Mind you petrol here is only 25p/litre...so you would save on running costs!

Talking about a turbo charged inline four, I think this engine would fit better then a petrona.

That means if it fits, and I guess the reliability aspact would come up again ... but then, isn't that part of the game?
