Hi all,
As the weather improves, I'm looking at all the 'jobs' that I want to do on the 500, including replacing the exhaust with a nice SS one.
Are there any suggestions as to where I should get it and what sort of price I'm looking at? I'm not looking for an outrageously loud exhaust as I want to do some TDs this year and don't want to get into db problems.
Another job that's on my mind is fitting a new Cam, with all the obligatory extras, chain, followers, etc etc.
Question is, if I do it myself, and I have had experience of rebuilding RV8 lumps before, put your self in the position of a potential buyer, would you feel worried about teh fact that the work hadn't been carried out by a reputable dealer/3rd party garage?
My plan would be to do the work then ask Austec to fine tune it.
