Hi guys

I have been looking for some info on the s65 and see it's pretty thin on the ground. I know the cars are pretty rare but I wondered if anyone has any experience of running one of these and how realistic the horror storries are?

Thanks

I have a CL65 but have not put too many miles. A guy I know here in Dallas has an S65 with close to 100k on it. I doubt if they're that much more complicated than a regular W220 S600 TT. Engine mounts and turbo O rings are supposed to be a big PITA. If you can DIY, you will save a lot of money.

Hello
I own a black w220 s65, low mileage of 56k. Unbelievable car not really much more i can say.

Somemof the horror stories can be true. Abc suspension is tje main concern, it is a hydraulic suspension system. Mercedes never put changing the oil in the mainteneance schedule and hydraulic oil is certqinly not a lifetime product hence the issues. 250 quid for new oil and filter and change every 3 yeqrs or so and you will have no issues. Do not take to main dealer for abc issues as thry have little expirience and will replace everything in site for simple fixes at huge £££. Take to expirience specialist and use forum advice.
Geqrboxes are bulletproof
Budget for coilpacks to go at any point

Other than petrol and tyres its not much more expensive than typical kerc ownership bit you will have one 0f the rarest and most exciting product mb ever produced
