Hi All

Does anyone here do data logging on their Nobles? If so, what software is used - I still have VAGCOM and a head from my Audi days, and I'd like to give it a bash.

Thanks
Ian

Do you mean on track logging? If so I'd just get a racing technologies unit. It has various sensor inputs, gps & accelerometers so can give a nice trace.

If you mean just hooking up to the ECU, its an MBE unit and I think the dealers all use their software. Its locked though, so dunno how much you would be able to see.

As Dan says the MBE unit is locked, and I've been told that us mere mortals can't get anything useful out of it.

Its not particularily difficult to extract the PIN from a dumped MBE chipfile. Then all you need is a copy of Easimap 5 with "advanced1" or "master" user profiles enabled and you can set up a new dashboard/panel to view sensor outputs etc.

Best Regards

When my MM ECU failed I had it replaced with an Omex unit by JNM. This can do data logging as a "Password Unlock" - Password supplied at a small fee no doubt !
