Afternoon all. Just been out for a usual weekend run and noticed again today that my 4.5 seems to be running a little hot. No issues with loss of water that I can see. This is my second gauge after the 1st broke about a year ago. Fans are kicking in and pulling the temp down but it seems to get back up quickly in traffic. It peaks at over 100 and historically its always sat between 80-90 and been very constant.
Just wondered what the thoughts may be??

Have you got Aide's RS-AJP app?

I had a similar experience with my Cerb and the guys on here told me not to worry as Cerbs typically run hot and the gauges are not that accurate.

This topic comes up a lot and the general feedback is they run hot but if your fans kick in (fan 1 then fan 2) you should be in good shape.

The app is the most accurate way to test this as it is plugged directly into the ECU and also shows when each of the fans come on.

There is also the cooling chip of from Joolz which brings the fans on earlier.

If you haven't already, download the app and plug it into your car when you drive. This will give you accurate readings.

Smarter people will arrive shortly for more technical answers outside of this.

Or you could run the diagnostics software on a laptop

(however Jammy's site looks down?)

Ah here you go
