Dark blue V8S (H* VBS) spotted parked on grass at Folly, with its targa up but no panels.

I came in about 10.30 and parked K* VBS about 15 cars towards Quarry. Went around to Tower so didn't see you leave.

I wasn't brave enough to leave the roof off all day!

I was also there, parked a bit further up towards quarry - grey V8S (L*** VBS). Good to see so many V8S in one place.

Christian.

(also met PH member Mars92 - my what a big camera he has!! I felt quite small with my little digital!)

3 V8s in one car park? I didn't see the grey one. Anyone spot mine? - dark green, near a white Porsche.

Speaking of big lenses, I was shooting down at Tower and Bobbies with my 300 f/2.8 and teleconverters.

I forgot how big the bugger was!

Christian,

Were you the lucky chap who finally purchased the '93
V8S from Shropshire. If so, is it as good as the Pics?

Forever nosey

Thanks to Christian for your comments about the big camera!! It's not always the size that counts, it's what you can do with it!!!!
Sorry I broke away from you guys, caught up with an old neighbour of mine (Just why did he sell his MGRV8 for an Audi convertible, I don't know!)
Saw K VBS and H VBS motors, where were you guys??!!
Christian, I didn't take any pics, no spills in the 'firing line' for me - case of sods law!
Good to see you, if you are going to Castle Combe again, let me know, otherwise hope to see you on Aug 14th at Silverstone, no excuses allowed! Oh yes bring that 'little' camera with you!! Remember what Crocodile Dundee said, "Now that, ain't no knife.......This IS a knife!!!)
Cheers
Paul

Rog,

Yes it is the very same car, and just as nice as in the photos. Chris and Kate the original owners really did treasure her from day 1. There garage was like a srine with a fully carpeted floor and framed pictures of its sprint and concours past!

My only problem is I would like to keep the S2 as well but really I don't think it would be used much as I am now addicted to V8 power.

Hope you get another soon.

Paul,

Really nice to meet you. I will be at Castle Coombe on the 23rd April for the track day, otherwise I will try and make silverstone - maybe a convoy? (rubber ducky)

How about using that large Camera to take some pictures of the new mats - they sound the dogs!

Christian.

Where were you shooting? I spent the morning in the paddock, then gradually crept round to Tower.

There was a green MGRV8 in the Camp car park. A red wedge, Cerbera, black Griff and two Chimps too.
