CSL to E92 M3 CP
Discussion
Decided early this year that it was time for the CSL to be moved on. One of my favourite cars but it was bought, strictly speaking, as an investment.
Had it for almost 2 years and although I spent a bit getting it A1 it still cleared an excellent net profit. Much of the stuff I had done made it much easier to sell.
It'd got to the stage where the value of the car wasn't laying easily in my mind and I was getting more wary of taking it out, due to both value and awareness of it's heritage (for want of a better word)

Anyhow, the day I handed the keys over, the local dealers had got this in for me to look at,

Mineral White with Fox Red interior, drove it, loved it and bought it.
Few things were needed on it, leaking front damper all sorted, oem alcantara wheel and oem cf dash inserts fitted, DRL bulbs changed to white as opposed to the dirty yellow, £10 spoiler bonded to the rear window (now removed and skipped), cf wrap on the bonnet vents which went into the same skip. Two new Conti tyres were taken off the fronts and sold on, MPSS were the replacements. Rear screen was a bit of a mess as it had a tint film that wasn't over neatly done and the glass had scratch marks on it. It was replaced with a Sun Protection screen which tidies the back end up. Back box had the 2.5 mod done and better tips fitted, it now sounds how a V8 should sound. Finally it went into the detailers and came out having had a 2 stage m/c polish, a coat of gTech Crystal Serum and one of EXO3.

Lovely.
How does it compare to the CSL? Is it a daily or something for the weekend?
It compares very well, if you set the "M" button options to lunatic level there really isn't much in it.How does it compare to the CSL? Is it a daily or something for the weekend?
It obviously lacks the rawness of the CSL but I like the fact it can be a lazy cruiser in auto or complete madness at the touch of a button.
Not exactly a daily as still have another vehicle, however, I can take it out without worrying about either the value or the mileage!
