Not entirely sure as to how this happened as I have PDK but I seem to have 19 ignition cycles in range 2 over rev.

Is this something I should be concerned about? Will it cause me difficulty if I want to get OPC extended warranty?

Completely normal.

1 & 2 are soft and hard limit respectively, within the capabilities of the car.

3 + is above and beyond, as far as I am aware that is when Porsche start to get antsy.

Thanks guys

Btw what's the difference between a soft and hard limit? I have sport plus in my car if that makes any difference

My Pdk 997 had some in both 1 and 2 and warrantied and extended without problem.

Rev range 1 and 2 are not an issue

We have just inspected a 997 tip gen 1 with the highest over rev we have seen to date on this model actually into range six,the silence asking a certain OPC (who we have asked the same question several times regarding other cars) to explain how they have provided warranty cover on this car is deafening.
