Thinking hats on
me being charity fundraiser for a childrens charity have to arrange and adult evening for parents of said children,so they can network,have fun and we can make some badly needed funds for out charity.
we are having an adults only evening,but need a them as the title above suggests.
we need an original theme.
ones suggested so far 60,s
70,s,
ABBA
cowboys and indians

I am sure you lot can come up with much better than that???

tarts and vicars does have the advantage of allowing blokes to cross dress and women can hide under robes.

It needs to be quite general so people can access stuff easily without spending a fortune.

A recent fancy dress theme I saw was 'what did you want to be when you were 5 years old?' That way people can come dressed as cowboys or train drivers or whatever, but also allows men to cross dress as women with the spurious excuse that that's what they wanted to be when they were young. Everyone's a winner!

Was going to suggest "Underground Stations", but it seems you are a little bit far north to make much sense of this.

A mate weld to one as "Kings Cross".

How about TV Shows of the 80s? I am sure you can have lots of fun with Metal Mickey, Knight Rider and the A Team.

been to a couple of good themed partys recently.

One I went to's theme was the letter "P". i.e. everything you drunk began with P, and you had to come dressed as something beginning with P.

Also went to one who's theme was 'Green' where....ok, you get the idea!

L is actually quite hard unless you'd like to be a lion or lollypop lady
