As a draught excluder it may work better if covered in some fabric.

As a lens at that price with f8-f16 I wouldn't hold out much hope in terms of quality, you would get better with a Sigma 50-500 and a teleconverter...

Just noticed it has "exotic anti-reflective coatings" and "water-white optical glass", so I take it all back!!!

I must say, I do have "optical glass" as a must-have on my list of things when buying lenses...

I remember taking two simple lenses and a broomstick to measure the distance to the moon in an OU foundation course.

I suggest that would give better value.....

Loving this part :

"Your pictures are only as good as the glass in your lens."

Not sure if it is meant as a selling point or a disclaimer!

If I'm selling one of those, I'll price it at £1,095 and you'll all be lusting after it

You ever tried focusing through an f8 lens ? Not easy, so it'll be 4 times as hard at f16, and then you lose another couple of stops if you hook up the teleconvertor !

Come on Guys, it's white!

Must be much better than Canon's off white L series glass

I was reading about one of their other lenses in an ebay add, from memory the closed focusing distance was 33FT
