Hey everyone

I've been looking around for a little bit now and have decided it's time to finally sort myself with a car. There's a lovely 1.3 Austin Metro Clubman going for a decent price nearby, but how's the insurance gona be for a 19 year old? Considering the extortionate prices there charging for the modern cars now I'm 50/50 on how to go....

Footman James offer young drivers classic car insurance (Up to 1.6 litre engine). Adrian Flux are usually quite good too.
Most I came across require you to have another car for main use.

I'm definitely interested in this as I've been trying to and my kids to my classic car insurance and my current brokers don't want to know.

Has anybody on here managed to get young drivers added to their classic car policy?

Just renewed my insurance yesterday, probably a fairly similar price for power and size. This is my third year on a Morris Minor and it cost £391 with some choice extras thrown in. Started at £827 garaged stored 2000 non-commuting miles, now on commuting 12,000 miles and road stored. I'm with Flux Direct.
