In which case it seems by contrafribularities were premature - they're blocking NEW ones, doesn't say anything about existing ones going. Plus it seems that they can install them on some TfL roads anyway.
Do we think there's an election coming up - cyncial, moi?

Really? As of when?
There are 2 cameras within half a mile of where I live so I will keep an eye on them...
Is this the same council that imposed blanket 40 limits on all the country lanes within the borough?![]()
Just caught the end of it. Definately were standing up for our cause, ie let a flashing warning give you the option to slow down ( which personally I dont mind )rather than the usual photo and fine. I am not advocating speeding in built up areas, but this seems a much more sensible approach. They were also saying that stats proved this method to be more effective. To me its an attitude to applaud if it spreads.

Agreed existing ones to stay but at least no new ones which were planned is a start.
Good to hear,,...I suppose...though if there are real blackspots where cameras are required, then i really don't mind.
I love the line from Bromley council that cameras are being used on motorists as a punative measure...
living in the area,,,how come my annual council tax bill under LBB costs more than it does to tax and insure my 3 cars???
