Tyre sizes for 16" wheels

Hi All, just about to fit 4 new tyres on 16" wheels. Currently I have 225/45/R16 front and 245/45/R16 rear.

Reading up there seems to be options on the front to go either 205/50 or 205/55.

What are others running? Anyone have any experience of changing from 225 to 205 on the front?

Fixed that for you. At the front either step up from the original 215 width and step down in profile or step down in width and step up in profile
