jipsom, is it your second motor? If so ask them early in the conversation whether they'll match you first car's NCB (if any) on the Noble policy otherwise it'll be too costly.

I am pretty sure you can only use NCB on one car. I never found anyone who would match my 7 yrs on 1st car. They all said I had to start from zero even though I also had 1yrs on my elise.

No so, Sir! Many specialist brokers sell policies that effectively "mirror" or match your valuable built-up NCB - I am on my second year this way myself!

can you name this specialist broker...I need to reinsure our 3rd car (used on the rainiest, snowiest days and hardly at all otherwise...but its a 2.5V6 and only 1 yr NCB...so the insurance is pretty steep)

Try Competition Car insurance. I got 3 years introductory no claims on a second car plus 4 free UK track days.

CCI seem to
A-Plan will do it

Search around the "TVR" forums as they seem to have similar issues to us noble owners.

Thanks for the info everyone. I'll hopefully be 'in the club' this Saturday. Still ringing round the insurance companies, though. It appears that, in London, it MUST be garaged. Not such an easy task, unfortunately. I would have hoped living on a private road would have been enough but no-one gives a damn. £2100 for up to 5000 miles is my best quote (with 1 years NCB).

I live in Cambridge and have a garage. I am 28 with 7 yrs NCB and its still £1400. (soon to be £850 inc track with Autotorque)

Call Autotorque in Manchester and ask for Chris. Tell him that I recomended you and listen to what he has to say. You will smile, I promise!!
