Guidance/ Advice/ Help with an idea

Hi All,
I find I'm always coming up with ideas for businesses and if never do anything with the ideas. I often write down my ideas and that's as far as I get when it comes to progression of my ideas
.
I have one idea which is ICT related. I would like a partner to work with in developing my idea/ building upon my idea. I am by no means asking anybody to go into business with me, just simply asking for someone to start a project with.
A little bit about me: I am currently 17 years old studying IT at college. I have a passion for IT, but my programming skills are limited. I would say I'm strongest at PHP. Good understading of website structure and programming would be helpful in deploying my idea. I'd like to think that I am much maturer than most people my age and I have the instinct to work hard.
If you have an ICT background and would like to join me, please drop me a personal message on here explaining a little bit about yourself and what you can offer/ how you can contribute.

Hello, I would say firstly well done for posting here at all, just talking and dumping down some words itself can take some doing.
Many of the people on PH are very helpful, your first question from me though is, What is the idea?
Can you give a bit more info without going into too much detail? For example if you have invented Facebook it might be too late.

Good question! Think of it an experience, you always learn something from an experience. Due to me being so young I haven't had many business/ ICT related experiences yet. And if you already have lots of experience and don't want to help a young person then it's not for you.

The reason why I didn't go into specifically what the idea is in the original post is because ideas can be stolen. No matter how good or bad, one idea may be the seed for another. Essentially, there are already apps that do what my idea is. But I feel my "version" of this functionality will be more targeted at businesses and large numbers of people working together/ on projects. I plan on the "idea" being a website, so the functionality of it can be accessed by many people on many, many different devices.
But no, I have not invented facebook
