Eloquent brickwork..........

I'm trying to figure out the best way to build a triangular box out of bricks. The wall has to be three courses high.

The problem is that I have yet to figure out the best way to deal with the corners. I've looked at angle bricks, sqints and such, but in each case they dont appear designed to do return angles (where the run of the bricks goes through more than 90 degrees).

I'm quite keen to avoid having horrible cutouts in the bond on the corner.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how do deal with this in a professional manner?

I think it'll probably come to that. The trouble then is that if you have the bricks arranged in a half bond configuration, you always end up with an exposed frog, where the brick is cut on the angle.

I'm just thinking actually.....

I might be able to get a solid brick (no frog) from the same brickworks.

The triangular box is going to be a part of the steps that replace the mess underneath the back door!

It's quite complicated to explain I'm afraid.

We do a brick cut-and-bonding service. £3 each plus the price of the bricks, plus VAT, unless you bring your own. Normally takes about 5-7 days.
