Looking for a good quote, can any one help? I'm 23 with 6 years no claims and been driving for 5+ years. A 4 ltr chim. with tesco at the mo, got a quote of £1120 with protected no claims/replacement car etc..

Can anyone beat that at all?

Rich, that sounds like a good quote to me, considering your age.

I'm not much older than you (but only have 4yrs NCB) and went through Privilege: £900 fully comp with PNCB. In my experience, they can be difficult when it comes to mods though.

In my case, the TVR specialist insurers were not particularly competitive on the basis that I was new to TVR/Group 20 ownership.

I was with privilege until recently, now i'm with Bell Direct (part of Admiral group)as they 'mirrowed' my no claims bonus onto my other car - combined price was v good @ about £950 - cars are Chim 4.0 and Vectra 2.5 V6 and includes business use, protected NCB, etc - give them a go.

With Sunninghill... Shade over £1000 for a 4.5 left outside, age 27, full NCB, no convictions / points, includes track cover and 90 days European cover.. as well as home start etc etc..

It's in the T&C's on my certificate, albeit with a large excess... not received anything subsequently... ergo I assume I am covered for track use.

Some excellent quotes on here (and some not so excellent !!) - considering I had a fault claim including a w/o last year - just been quoted £458 fully comp plus the wife (as a named driver not as part of the deal) for a prospective purchase from one of the insurers. Quote valid for 28 days.

No problem...mine was £389..could be something to do with my age

Try MSM Insurance. Mine costs £630 for 5k limited.
I've got 6 yrs NCD, no points and am 26.

Now I am 29 (30 in Sept) PNCB of 10 years and 1 accident about 2 years ago.

I live in Manchester and teh cheapest I got was £1469.
