That warm feeling when an old car passes its MOT

My 22 year old W124 E36 AMG just passed its MOT with no advisories.

Excellent work. It felt like a bit of an achievement when I'd fettled my old E36 M3 to the point where it was consistently passing clear MoTs lovely old bus.

Yes i no that feeling as my gti has just passed its MOT after 9 years of the road and covering just 53 miles since it was on the road last.

I was about to say that these days I get a warm feeling when my daily driver passes the MOT, never mind my classics. Then I realised that as it's a 2000 car, it probably doesn't count as a "modern" any more.

I have just had a fail on a number plate light - can't believe I didn't spot that!
Passed second time with an advisory of tyres on my AX GTi which will be 25 years old in August but last year she passed with no advisories, good little bus

The warm feeling is even warmer after you've spent years on a restoration, put it in and it passes first time.
