Ok, weird one this, but you like a bit of weird biggrin

Had a freaky, vivid dream last night, as a teenager it seems I had killed a kid from school during a punch up in the local park, he banged his head, it was late and nobody else was around so I borrowed some tools from the park keepers hut and buried him in a remote corner of the park behind some bushes, it was a bit strange like dreams are but seemingly I got away with it, the dream involved panics with me being my current age so he was still buried in his little corner of the park 30 years on.

I am guessing that probably wouldn't have worked, what would have really happened ?

How would you have gone about it ? suppose there must be a number of folk in this country that have managed it.

Could make a good book something like this, already been done ?

Can we have a month's quarantine on this post before posting our replies? Just to let the smell set in and give the game up for the OP?

You're always gonna have problems lifting a body in one piece.

Apparently the best thing to do is cut up a corpse into six pieces and pile it all together.

And when you got your six pieces, you gotta get rid of them, because it's no good leaving it in the deep freeze for your mum to discover, now is it? Then I hear the best thing to do is feed them to pigs.

You got to starve the pigs for a few days, then the sight of a chopped-up body will look like curry to a pisshead.

You gotta shave the heads of your victims, and pull the teeth out for the sake of the piggies' digestion. You could do this afterwards, of course, but you don't want to go sievin' through pig st, now do you?

They will go through bone like butter.

You need at least sixteen pigs to finish the job in one sitting, so be wary of any man who keeps a pig farm. They will go through a body that weighs 200 pounds in about eight minutes. That means that a single pig can consume two pounds of uncooked flesh every minute. Hence the expression, "as greedy as a pig."

Great movie that!

I'd hire a villa in Portugal and leave the body in the room and go out with my wife and have dinner....

I had a similar dream last month in which I did the MiL in & stuffed the (ample) cadaver in the divan drawer of the bed, then spent a month wringing my hands until the cops got me. I woke up before the court case, but I imagine it was the handle of her broom sticking out of the drawer that did for me.

If a boulder had recently rolled down a hill into my pool, I'd drain the pool, lift the tiles, dig hole (probably some Spanish kid getting paid min wage), dump body with like, tile, grout, water. Bob's you're uncle's grandad.

Seriously? Dunno. Probably panic and run away. Cut my finger quite badly recently, blood spurting with heartbeat kinda stuff. I definitely don't have any desire to be around dismembered body parts or large amounts of blood. It's minging.

What did Fred West do? He got away with it for quite a while didn't he? 20 years or something like that...

Sounds like a Breaking Bad plot-line to me. Acid and a plastic bath, although I've no idea how you'd get rid of the 'gloop'...

Bath of acid? Just make sure you open some windows as the neighbours don't like the smell wink

Must be weird being in that situation, even if you thought you had got away with it, there would always be cold case reviews, building work digging or the body just being found, The thought of knowing he is there, passing the park in question and just remembering it, would probably haunt your dreams even more than my fictitious one.

Would you confess on your deathbed ?

There is a grain of truth in this that I think put the idea in my head, back in about 1985 my cousin got a lovely new "Ridgeback" Mountain Bike, Mountain Bikes were still a new concept so it was a big deal, anyway, the gears did that traditional thing of getting caught on the rear wheel which mangled the gears, the wheel and snapped the frame, it was utterly ruined, so to avoid problems, we cut it up (took ages with a blunt junior hacksaw) and buried it in a place called the "Gyppos", an old RAF camp/piece of waste ground we used to spend a lot of time on, not sure why we did as it wasnt his fault, we said it had been nicked, and a few weeks later he gets another bike and over time it gets forgotten about until I nipped round to my aunties and uncles, they mentioned it and asked if it got nicked so I caved and confessed biggrin

Would love to get a metal detector, a spade and dig it up.

Truth be told, it wouldn't be that hard to get rid where I live.

There's acres and acres of forestry land miles from prying eyes which can be accessed by 'fire road' if you know where to look and luckily for me and unluckily for any theoretical victim I do.

The ground is mostly very soft and it wouldn’t be more than 30 mins work to dig a usefully deep hole. But you gotta do it right. I mean, you gotta have the hole already dug before you show up with a package in the trunk. Otherwise, you're talking about a half-hour to forty-five minutes worth of digging. And who knows who's gonna come along in that time? Pretty soon, you gotta dig a few more holes. You could be there all fkin' night.

Bath of an alkali (lye/sodium hydroxide) would be better!

Just finished a book on this. I don't think he did it immediately, he let the bodies stiffen for a while. Doesn't the blood go into the muscles or just congeal after a while? I think he also cut up the bodies over the pit he dug beforehand so the blood and gore dropped in. He then removed the legs, arms and the head before placing them all on top of each other in the hole which was about 18sq/in.
He'd have gotten away with it if he hadn't lost his temper with his other children and threatened to 'bury you under the patio with your sister!' that they hadn't seen for years, thinking she'd run away.
I'd throw the dismembered body in the boot and drive around remote places like the Lakes and drop them off in the dark somewhere.

I've often considered this whilst out walking the dog. I live in the New Forest and you can be very remote in not a huge amount of time, in a place where nobody else might go for some time. Dig a deep hole and bobs your uncle. How long till the body would be found? No idea. Maybe never.

I thought you just pack them in the boot of your car and take them to the scrap yard no have body and car crushed?

Obviously get Vincent and Jules to clean up the initial mess first though.

Having recently seen a 14" thick tree trunk go through a woodchipper and come out the other side like a dose of dysentery, the size of postage stamps, I'd perhaps consider that option.

A few trees to bulk up the waste pile would probably be needed though - most people would probably notice the large red splat...

Biological washing power will break down all the soft tissues. You just need a big enough container to hold the body and a suitable volume of water and washing powder. Every few days you need to drain and refill the container. Once that's done grind down the bones and get rid of them.
