Well we did it. A little bet on Sunday that myself, DustyC and Cuzza off PH couldnt replace the duff head gasket on the S in 1 day, especially with minging hangovers

Starting at 10.30am (well, DustyC starting at 12.30pm) at 7 pm that evening Claire drove the S for the first time since August bank holiday

Many thanks go to Cuzza, DustyC and SotonS2, who not only came over for a while to help, but also lent us some tools that were essential for the job. Cheers muchly you guys.

oh, and Cuzza banned me from posting the video of him dancing to reggae with the distributor cap on his head as a rasta. But he failed to note that with my new camera I can freeze frame videos and he never said anything about not posting still shots

Was gonna ask that, what with having the suspension a bit low the nose of mine jams the floor now when lifted .

Good job there by the S hants PH massiff . Obviously didn't have the time to gas flow the heads whilst at it then .

We thought about it

Actually I need to find some longer springs to raise the suspension a little on the old gal.

I dont think expensive cameras allow for the shakes I had at 3am after 8 pints, 2 G&T's and half a bottle of JD

Yes I was sad to hear you had sold yours - she was a beauty.

Secret is not to sell ... just make them go faster
